Identify Growth Barriers and Opportunities

Objective: Identify key barriers and enablers to innovation and economic growth through stakeholder engagement to refine draft roadmap vision and goals resultant from initial engagement and desktop research.
Key activities:
  • Work with CHDC and key stakeholders to refine draft economic growth factors and innovation framework to identify barriers and roadblocks to growth in the region.
  • Undertake an initiative mapping exercise to gather overarching regional and state initiatives, guaranteeing future linkage to roadmap initiatives and sustainability.
  • Facilitate dialogue to recognise strategic connections and foster potential collaborations with existing initiatives, industries, and local businesses identified through initial local objective and initiative mapping.
Key Outputs:
  • Thematic analysis of barriers and identify opportunities for Frontier CQ to enable economic growth and Central Highlands innovation agenda, resulting in a draft strategy for Frontier CQ.
